January 2012: PIN/HEXAG Newsletter
Energy Assessment Survey:
Two
undergraduates at Newcastle, Dean McCaffery and
Johanna Smith, are currently undertaking a survey on
energy use in the chemical industry as a research
project at Newcastle University. The aim of the
survey is to gather information on the chemical
sectors energy usage and to use this data to
determine how the use of process intensification can
be applied to enhance the energy efficiency of
industry.
